Chard is the perfect leafy green for every Fall garden it's delicious, nutritious and easy to grow. You can start chard from seed or plant. Get a head start by starting seed indoors three to four weeks earlier and plant the seedlings after all danger of frost. Chard loves a sunny, open position. Grow it in soil that’s both moist, fertile and plant in a fertile well drained soil.
